Tishaun Jenkins

Tishaun was named a first-team All-American his senior season, and led the Vikings to the college's first and only Final Four appearance in 2000. During his four years, Salem State captured four straight Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference regular season championships and three postseason championships. A skilled point guard, Tishaun earned consecutive MASCAC Player of the year honors in 1999 and 2000, and won the Bob Cousy award as the best player under six feet in New England. Tishaun was also named to the all-tournament team at the 2000 NCAA Division III Final Four and was named the NCAA Northeast player of the year that same season. The Worcester native scored 1160 career points and helped the Vikings to a 94-19 record during his four seasons. Tishaun is the Director of the “Will Meets Skill Program” and lead trainer to many young athletes in Central Massachusetts. He assists in the progress of many young athletes including, elite high school and AAU players. Tishaun recently received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Anna Maria College

Recognition

In 2007, the men's basketball team won the Division III, Region 21 championship, advancing to the national tournament in Delhi, NY where the team defeated last the 2006 champs, North Lake College, 72-67.
