As the Program Coordinator, I am privileged to encourage EMS personnel to continue their education in pre-hospital advanced life support.
My love for EMS began in 1978 in the time when Cadillacs were still the mode of transport and demand valves were the “ambulance driver’s ” best friends!  I started by taking first aid and CPR classes and then instructor classes in both as well, then on to EMT.  I completed my Paramedic training in 1985, I worked in a private service, as a volunteer for a town service, for a private service assigned to a municipal service, and for a non-transporting hospital-based service. I became an instructor here at Quinsigamond in 1994.
I have always believed that true instructors must “do” in order to be accurate in their instruction.  To enable me to bring the most current information and experiences to our students, I continue to function on a per diem basis as a paramedic in the highest volume non-transport system in Massachusetts at one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals.
My passion in EMS is excellent pre-hospital patient care.  I would be pleased to share that love with you here in our programs!  Welcome!
