Assessment for Course Placement

Please do not come to campus.  All in-person testing is suspended until further notice.

Placement Testing

Placement testing has been suspended. Until it resumes, there are other measures and guidelines that our Advisors are using to help place you into the appropriate level classes and register you for classes. These might include:

  • Recent high school transcript or most recent report card, showing overall GPA
  • College transcripts or previous QCC courses and grades
  • AP test scores, SAT or ACT test scores
  • HiSET or GED test scores
  • Math Skills Check results

Please contact Academic Advising at 508.854.4308 or advising [at] qcc.mass.edu to see which options might be available to you. Be sure to have the items listed above on hand or be able to send them to us on request.

Test Score Request Form

If you need your test scores sent to another school, download the Request Form.  Be sure to print it, fill it out, sign it, and then return to testing [at] qcc.mass.edu.

Scores from Another Institution

If you have English Accuplacer Scores from another institution, we might be able to use them. Please have scores sent to testing [at] qcc.mass.edu. Please note that we do not use math scores from any other institution.
