The Math Center is offering remote tutoring and services

Mathematics Learning Space
The Math Center is a welcoming and supportive learning space, whether we work in the center or online! It provides math resources and free, drop-in, one-on-one and small group tutoring for currently enrolled QCC students. The goal of tutoring is to help students strengthen math and study skills by reinforcing classroom and online learning. Part of being a successful math student is utilizing course resources, such as reading the textbook or e-book to review examples and reinforce math vocabulary, watching videos, reviewing notes, and doing math by working on assignments. Please bring your course material and syllabus when you visit. Students are encouraged to collaborate with tutors and classmates in the Math Center (and in online Blackboard Collaborate sessions).

QCC math tutors can assist with homework problems and examples from course textbooks and with similar questions from Pearson - MyLab Math homework assignments. Tutors can also help students navigate the course website, textbooks and e-texts, videos, and Blackboard. Please note that during final exam periods, remote Math Center tutors will only be able to assist with the odd-number problems from the course e-text. For technical help, including with Blackboard, click here for the QCC Help Desk
