Career and Academic Advisement Services

How QCC Southbridge can help...

Advising and Career Planning:

  • Can help you decide which QCC program of study is best for you
  • Provide career counseling and information on careers associated with QCC programs of study
  • Interpret your placement scores
  • Assist with registration for courses
  • Provide information on important resources

Testing

QCC is not conducting placement testing at this time out of an abundance of caution related to COVID-19. In lieu of testing, Academic Advisors are prepared to review your previous high school or college transcripts, or will request a writing sample from you to ensure proper placement into English classes (or classes that require English).

For Math, QCC has created a Math Skills Check for your review. Please go through the Math Skills check to determine your most appropriate placement in Mathematics (and courses that require Mathematics). Note: Your math pathway may vary depending on your Program of Study. For more information, please contact Advising at advising [at] qcc.mass.edu.

To request your Fall schedule, please fill out the registration survey, and an academic advisor will contact you within 3-5 business days with your schedule or a request for more information.
