ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages
The Quinsigamond Community College English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program provides free English classes to adult learners whose native language is not English. Low beginning (1), high beginning (2), intermediate (3) and advanced (4) level classes are offered in both the morning and evening. Classes focus on reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar and conversation. The ESOL program prepares students to develop proficient language skills required to communicate effectively in the community, workplace and in their daily lives. They can use this proficiency for entering college, job training and career advancement.
ESOL Classes: Times, Dates and Levels Available
- Morning classes from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays
- ESOL Level 1, 2 and 3
- Morning classes from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- ESOL Level 1, 2, 3 and 4
- Afternoon classes from 12:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- ESOL Levels 1, 2 and 3
- Evening classes from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- ESOL Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4
