Nurse Assistant Program - ESOL
The Adult Community Leaning Center and Workforce Development have partnered to offer a tuition free nursing assistant training program. This program is open to adult, ESOL, learners who speak English as a second language. After successfully completing the course, students receive a nurse assistant certificate, allowing them to sit for the American Red Cross exam. Once they pass the American Red Cross exam, the student will become a certified nurse assistant (CNA).
Program Schedule: 30* hours per week
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
(*16 out of the 30 hours covers technical language support)
